Three brand-new Marvel Disney+ series were announced at the Disney+ panel at D23 this year: Ms. MarvelShe-Hulk, and ...

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige also confirmed at D23 that the show will feature the classic Moon Knight of Marvel Comics, Marc Spector a mercenary who almost dies in Egypt and either gets super powers or possibly just goes insane and thinks he’s now a superhero. The comic is among the darkest ones in the main Marvel Cinematic Universe, and one of the most interesting — with Marc Spector often exhibiting multiple personalities. It’s a great book — and it should make a great TV series.

Feige did not announce a cast or creative team, and the graphic shown at D23 listed Moon Knight coming after all of the previously announced Disney+ Marvel shows — The Falcon and the Winter SoldierLoki, What If? and WandaVision — and also after the newly announced Ms. Marvel series as well. So don’t expect Moon Knight to be there when Disney+ launches on November 12. It’s probably more like 2021.
