Fans have been frantically trying to figure out the whereabouts of Nicki Minaj ever since the superstar has been missing from social media as of Dec. 30, 2017. According to TMZ, however, the Queens rapper hasn't disappeared for concerning reasons, as she is reportedly focusing on her new album.

Minaj apparently decided to take a break from social media while welcoming the new year in order to put all of her focus into creating music for her highly anticipated fourth album. This new LP would serve as the follow-up to 2014's The Pinkprint, which spawned the hits "Feeling Myself" featuring Beyoncé, "Anaconda" and "Pills n Potions." Being that the rapper has put herself in a much more creative space without the distractions of social networks, she'll remain off social media until the project is complete.

The "No Frauds" rhymer is said to be working with major acts for the album, including her Young Money label head Lil Wayne as well as Mack Maine and more. We're not sure what's in store for the project, but Nicki has been teasing it for fans for over a year now. She closed out last year collaborating with the likes of Lil Uzi Vert on the remix to "The Way Life Goes" and Lil Wayne on "5 Star." Both of those tracks will not appear on her album though.

Minaj has reportedly finished several tracks for her own album, but there's no word on yet on who will take part in the project. The album should arrive later this year. Until then, we likely won't see her on the ’Gram. A fan has created the FindingNicki.com website since the rapper has disappeared from social media to keep track of the days since she's been inactive. So far, 46 days and counting.
