Quavo is enjoying the perks of having a No. 1 record, as he recently hit up the Dominican Republic for a video shoot. While on set, the ATL rapper sat down for a brief interview with The Progress Report.

Interviewer Lalaa Shepard asks Quavo how it feels to have "Bad and Boujee" at the (drop?) top of the charts.

The Migos MC responds, "Ay man, it feels good. Thank God. Shout-out to Childish Gambino for making that statement he made. That's my boy."

Then, Quavo says something that will make a lot of FX fans happy. "We killed Atlanta," he says. "I hope [Childish] hits my phone, I hope we can do season two."

Unfortunately, fans of the hit TV show might have to wait a while to get the second season. Deadline reports that Gambino - the creative force behind Atlanta - has a crazy production schedule this year, which includes a role in the new Star Wars film. Because Star Wars films this year, Atlanta will be put on the backburner, for now.

You can view the brief clip of Quavo answering questions above. The 25-year-old artist previews a new collaboration with rapper Born called "Hot Topic." As aforementioned, the MCs recently visited the D.R. to shoot the accompanying music video.

Migos' highly anticipated new album Culture drops on Jan. 27.
