We're getting closer to Record Store Day 2017, which means official announcements are right around the corner — and a slew of rumors about this year's releases are already here.

Modern Vinyl has done the hard work and heavy lifting of rounding up the most high-profile rumored RSD 2017 releases, an eclectic bunch that includes classic rock acts like Toto, pop stars such as Sia and Miley Cyrus, and a hefty helping of indie artists and alt-rock vets.

According to posts culled from a variety of sites, Record Store Day shoppers can expect to find limited vinyl releases from Animal Collective (the 10" Meeting of the Waters, pressed in a 1,200-copy run), Ben Folds (Live in Perth, previously available as a DVD), Coheed and Cambria (Good Apollo, I’m Burning Star IV Volume One, available in a 2,500-copy run on 150-gram splatter gatefold vinyl), the Dave Matthews Band (the 4-LP Live at Red Rocks 8.15.95, on 150-gram metallic silver), Iron and Wine (Archives Series Volume No. 3, on translucent blue vinyl in a 700-copy run), and Spoon (the 12", 2,000-copy Hot Thoughts, containing two new tracks).

These titles are all obviously yet to be officially confirmed, but they're well worth looking for as product announcements continue during the days leading up to April 22. We've already seen confirmations regarding a handful of Record Store Day 2017 releases, including a 7" single from Filthy Friends and a covers EP from Jason Isbell — as well as a special vinyl release of Corey Feldman's very special "Go 4 It" single. Keep an eye on the official RSD site for updates.
