Remy Ma stands accused of allegedly assaulting Love & Hip Hop actress Brittney Taylor, and now she's reportedly being investigated by the New York Police Department.

Taylor made the claims during an interview with the New York Daily News on Friday (April 19). She alleges Mrs. Mackie, who recently gave birth to her and Papoose's newborn daughter, punched her in the face while backstage at Pretty Lou's Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza on Tuesday night (April 16).

Taylor claims her and Remy went into the greenroom backstage and had a conversation about an attack on Remy's stepdaughter, Dejanae, which went down several weeks ago. She said that Remy accused Taylor of knowing about the attack, which allegedly prompted the Bronx native to throw the punch.

“What happened with me and Dej in Miami is I saved her—I saved her life, and [Remy] got aggressive [when Brittney told her at Irving],” Taylor told NYDN. “[Remy] was like, ‘That’s not what I heard,’ and she punched me in the face.”

She added, “I just don’t feel like it’s okay for people to put their hands on someone that’s not being malicious to them, that’s being genuine.”

Taylor also claimed she went to the hospital for treatment and then filed a police report. Her lawyer says she is cooperating with police and attorneys are trying to find witnesses to corroborate her story.

As of this report, no charges or arrests have been made. Local authorities tell TMZ that there is an open assault investigation stemming from an altercation at the benefit concert, which happens to include a female being punched. However, even after Taylor made an Instagram post about the incident on Thursday (April 18), Remy Ma's team maintains that there's zero validity to the reality TV star's story.

Remy Ma is currently on parole until Aug. 1, 2019 after she was released from prison in 2014. She was convicted of assault, illegal weapon possession and attempted coercion in 2008 following a shooting outside a Manhattan nightclub in 2007.

XXL has reached out to Remy Ma's team and the NYPD for a comment about the matter.
