Russell Simmons has maintained his innocence since being accused of rape and sexual misconduct, but the hip-hop mogul has even more problems ahead of him.

According to a report from TMZ, two women have gone to police and filed criminal complaints against the Def Jam co-founder. The police reports were filed in December and allege that Simmons raped the women in 1983 and 1991, respectively.

One of the women who filed a complaint is Sherri Hines, who previously appeared on Megyn Kelly Today and claimed Simmons raped her in his office years ago. "It happened so fast that the next thing I know, my pants were down and he was having his way," she said at the time.

The other woman who filed a complaint remains anonymous but alleges that Simmons raped her in his Manhattan residence following a date in 1991. The woman, who was 32 years old at the time, claims the mogul tried to take off her dress and then pushed her down and forcibly raped her after she rejected his advances.

Prior to the anonymous woman, the total number of women accusing Simmons of sexual misconduct was 13. The number has now reached 14.

In December, Simmons refuted the claims against him, posting a statement on Instagram and revealed his plans to "properly defend" himself. "I will prove without any doubt that I am innocent of all rape charges," he wrote.

"My intention is not to diminish the #MeToo movement in anyway, but instead hold my accusers accountable," Simmons continued. "#NotMe Again, this is not a movement against or even in conjunction with #Metoo . It’s just a statement about my innocence."

Along with the two new complaints, the NYPD is already investigating Simmons for at least seven claims of sexual misconduct.
