Before legendary comedian Don Rickles passed away in April, he teamed up with AARP for the series Dinner with Don. The celebrity interview series included sit-downs with a who's who of Hollywood and on Monday (Sept. 25), the first episode featuring Snoop Dogg was released on YouTube.

Shot over two months "at some of Rickles' favorite Hollywood restaurants," the first episode takes place at Mr. Chow and featured a sharper than ever Rickles. Bonding over a glass of vodka, the late-comedian and Snoop discussed marriage, the Rat Pack and the rapper's early influences.

Snoop was also shocked to learn the comedian had never tried marijuana, which led to some grilling from the rapper. Not missing a step, Rickles fired back at the questioning, asking, "What are you, the D.A.?"

According to Jefrey Eagle, VP of AARP Studios, Dinner with Don was initially created as a way "to bridge older and younger generations of comics and actors through laughter and shared experiences. With Don's passing, the series turned out to be a touching and hilarious tribute, featuring his very last work."

Other episodes of Dinner with Don include interviews with Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Poehler, Paul Rudd, Sarah Silverman, Billy Crystal, Rich Eisen, Vince Vaughn, Marisa Tomei, Judd Apatow, Robert De Niro and more.

In related Snoop news, the California rapper recently praised Colin Kaepernick for bringing awareness to social issues. Appearing on ESPN's First Take, the rapper said, “He peacefully protested, the word is peacefully. I’ve seen some protest in Charlottesville that wasn’t peaceful so it’s like shows the benefits of what he did on the positive side, which he brought some awareness to something that’s actually happening as we speak.”
