Wake Up: Unplugged! Meet Joy Donna!

Later this morning we feature our latest artist for Wake Up: Unplugged.  This week you get a chance to meet Joy Donna.

Joy was raised in Galena and was schooled in Chicago.  During the day she works as a mortician, so she jokes that people are always dying to hear her sing.

Her guitar and voice, weathered from countless days of Galena street performing, have landed her many cool gigs.

She's auditioned for NBC's The Voice, played sporting events and has even made it to the state level of the Country Showdown.

Joy's diverse sound has something for everyone.

She's appearing at 'My Place The Pub' in Bettendorf tomorrow night (11/12) and 'Lock 12' in Bellevue the day after Thanksgiving.
