Wyclef Jean is the latest artist to join Live Nation Urban and TCG Entertainment's concert series, A Night of Symphonic Hip-Hop, which will feature the rapper hitting up multiple cities across the U.S.

The performance series with The Carnival musician will kick off on Jan. 19, 2018, in Omaha, Neb., where he will join the Omaha Symphony onstage. Hitting up other major areas such as Columbus, Ohio; St. Louis, Mo.; and Dallas, Wyclef will run through some of his newer material including "Borrowed Time" and "What Happened to Love," as well as classic singles from his two decades-long career while backed by a full symphony.

Regardless of having a full symphony to play his hits, Wyclef will still be playing on his own signature guitar, being that he is known for being the "hip-hop guitarist."

The Flea Kuti entertainer is one of three hip-hop names to join Live Nation Urban's series, as they previously recruited Common and The Roots for their former dates.

Common, The Roots and Wyclef are far from the first artists to be backed by symphonies for their rap performances, as Kendrick performed with the National Symphony Orchestra back in 2015, for some of his To Pimp a Butterfly hits. Even Nelly has performed all of his classic records with a full symphony backing, as well as Migos, who did their Trap Symphony show in 2015 for Audiomack.

Most recently, Wyclef released his Inspired By... mixtape, which features him covering tons of popular tracks from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Kodak Black, Young Thug and more.
