An apparent collaboration between Young Thug and Elton John has leaked online, and fans of both artists are buzzing. Titled "Rocket Man (Remix)" the track finds Thugger utilizing his signature crooning over the hook along with Elton John. He also adds a few hip-hop verses to the iconic song.

Rumors of the collab were first sparked by photos of the two together that Thugger posted back in 2016. As the two both live in Atlanta, it looked like the "Gain Clout" rapper stopped by the singing legend's impeccably designed home for a meet-and-greet.

It's unclear whether the "Rocket Man (Remix)" will get an official release, but it's definitely an enjoyable, floaty tune that finds Thug tapping into his singing skills and dropping some heavy bass onto the recognizable rock hit. The original "Rocket Man" was released by Elton John in 1972, and is considered widely by many to be one of the greatest songs of all time.

"I want a train, let's run a train/If she wanna bang just let her bang/He said he bleeding, where the stain?/My bitch at the top of food chains," Thug sing/raps.

This new endeavor adds to a big week for Young Thug, who dropped off his Slime Language Young Stoner Life Records compilation mixtape on Aug. 17. The tape featured verses by frequent collaborators Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert and more. Thugger also picked up a 2018 MTV Video Music Award last night (Aug. 20) for Video of the Year for his Camila Cabello-assisted song "Havana."
