Best of Luck to ‘Mr. Wayne!’

I have to pause today and take a moment to congratulate my father-in-law Wayne as he embarks on his retirement!

Wayne McGinnis, or ‘Mr. Wayne’ as he’s known to the students of Prescott Elementary School is finishing up his last few hours today.  He’s officially retiring after 27 years with the Dubuque Community School District.

Not only is he my father-in-law, he’s also a Vietnam vet, a 'Mr. Fix-It' and all around good guy.

While I’d like to imagine him spending his retirement-days watching movies or fishing out by the camper, I’m sure his wife Cindy will be more than accommodating in finding him odd-jobs and chores around the house!

Congrats again, Mr. Wayne… you deserve it!
