I HATE BUGS!

My wife always hates me in the summertime, because I'm always extra irritable due to the heat.  Now it sounds like there's something else that's going to make this summer unbearable...

BUGS!

I read a press release earlier this week from Iowa State University's entomology department that basically said gnats will be awful this year.

It's bad enough I'm outside sweating, but now I have a hundred thousand little bugs taking turns bouncing off my bald head.

Usually gnats are numerous around watery spots, especially rivers, but for some reason there is an abundance this year.

The only highlight to this story is that the bug invasion shouldn't last more than a few weeks... unfortunately it will then be mosquito and fish fly season!

Needless to say, if you run into me outside and I'm crabby... now you know why!

Get out the bug-spray.  Have a good summer.
