It’s Official: My Daughter Is Part of the Family

Last weekend, my wife, daughter and I went up to my hometown in Rochester, MN for Easter. The highlight of the weekend was introducing my daughter to most of my family for the first time.

One tradition in our family is that every new addition gets a Christmas stocking made for them. I'm not quite sure who started this tradition, but the stocking-making torch has been passed to my aunt, Marie.

We knew it was coming at some point, but it was still special to see it made.
