Shenanigan’s Pub ‘Benefit Ride’ This Weekend

As the 4th approaches, we think about our troops and how grateful we are for their service.  Many wonder how they can repay this debt to those who served.

There's nothing better than saying thanks and having a little fun at the same time.

Sliver from Shenanigan's Pub and Jim Wagner from the Veteran's Freedom Center stopped in to tell me about one such event this weekend!

Shenanigan's Pub, at 32nd and Central in Dubuque is holding a benefit ride tomorrow (6/27) and proceeds will benefit the Veteran's Freedom Center, Operation We Care and Give a Lift to a Vet.

Stop by for registration beginning at 10:30am, with the ride departing at noon.  It's just $10 per person with stops at Bent Rim, Bootleggers, Noonans, Durango Depot and Shenanigan's Pub!

Even if you're not coming to ride, stop down for music from Steppin Up DJ service from noon to 6pm and Lipstick Slick from 9pm until 1am.

Come hungry, as they'll be doing a hog roast challenge.

Food, music, raffles, a live/silent auction and fun.  Don't miss this event and help give back to our service members!
