Books Collecting Dust

This morning I read that the average American home has 264 books, and about 18% of those were never opened.

Personally, I read a lot of autobiographies and true-crime books, those are my favorites.  I also love Steven King books.

I will admit that I have, on more than one occasion, picked up a book from the discount bin thinking that I will delve in and get it read.  Of course, I put it on the bookshelf and walk past it a year later, remembering that I still haven't read it yet.

(I have a huge John Lennon book that I've been meaning to read for about two years.)
