This Car Has No Rhythm!

We recently started driving our new Y105 station vehicle, a Kia Soul from Mike Finnin Kia.  We love it... there's just one problem!

It's nothing with the car.  The bluetooth and hands-free features make it pretty slick.

I do have to toss Tasha from Kurt's Auto a little crap, though.

Usually when you get a number it's given with the following rhythm... 555 (pause) 55 (pause) 55.  Right?

For years, Tasha has been giving her number out as 55-75-021.  (Fifty-five, seventy-five, oh-two-one.)  While I always remember it, when I try to voice dial it (without the usual number rhythm), the car can't seem to keep up and screws up the number!

I tried to slow down and do the number slower, but I just kept screwing it up!

I pulled over to take the picture above, then manually dialed the phone and went on my way!
