Travis Scott fans got wild and rowdy at his New York City show on Sunday night (April 30), but the rapper wants to be clear that he’s not responsible for how reckless some people behaved. TMZ reports that associates of the rapper says he never encouraged a teenager to jump who fell into the mosh pit at the concert.

The show was at Terminal 5 and people were diving off balconies at the venue; footage showed what looks to be Scott egging people on to jump from the 3rd story balcony. But Scott says he never encouraged the teen, who was seriously injured–including what looked to be a broken leg and fractured back.

Scott says he told fans to form a net before encouraging fans on the 2nd story to leap, but never suggested that anyone jump from the 3rd story.

“The safety of everyone is held in the highest regard and we are currently conducting an internal investigation to ensure that this does not happen again,” said reps for the rapper. “We are deeply concerned about the guest who was injured and intend to offer him our support.”

The show made headlines after fans posted footage of people jumping from the balconies at the show.

Travis Scott has also been a fixture on gossip sites lately; with rumors swirling that Kylie Jenner and Travis could potentially be a thing after they both attended Coachella and were seen holding hands. It was reported that Kylie was there to support Travis during his performance. The two have reportedly been friends for years.

Scott is currently on his Birds Eye View Tour.
