Turtle Power (At This Year’s Dubuque County Fair)

As if there's not enough to look forward to at this years Dubuque County Fair, I got a chance to speak to Jason Ybarra earlier this morning.

Jason, a former actor and sometimes stuntman is coming in with his crew this week as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

5 years ago, Jason spent his time and money building a replica of the turtles van (also known as the 'party wagon').  He acquired turtle suits, too, and shortly after found himself in hot demand for parties, events and even comic-con appearances.

All this week he and his crew will be appearing at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds dressed as the turtles.  They will be glad to stop for pictures and sign autographs.

So when you see those big, green shells coming your way, don't be afraid to give a smile and a wave!
