We’re in a Holding Pattern Right Now

For the last nine months, my wife and I have been preparing ourselves and our home for a little baby girl. There's been a few moment of anxiety, but mostly it's been nine months of anticipation. Looking back, I'm really proud of how far we've come.

As I've referenced in a few blogs posts, I'm not handiest of guys in terms of constructing furniture, but I can tell you that after assembling a dresser and crib, I'm a lot better than I was a month ago.

I've been so proud of my wife getting up 5-6 days a week and going to her nursing job knowing that most of her whole body is begging her to stay home and lay on the couch. She's done most of the shopping to furnish the nursery and has picked out some really cool stuff!

Now, we wait until our daughter, Lydia, decides she's ready to make her exit.
