Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus at Kwik Stop for Their Free “Santa Day”

Another Christmas season means it's time for another "Magical Kwik Stop Christmas" with your locally owned Kwik Stop stores. This marks their 21st year of helping families in Dubuque and the Tri-State area.

Sort of like an extension of their Kwik Care program — where a non-profit is selected each month and is the recipient of donations from Kwik Stop and Dairy Queen customers throughout that month — "Magical Kwik Stop Christmas" looks to help families this holiday season. Heather Hamm of Kwik Care shared, via press release, that Kwik Stop will be looking to support 22 families this holiday season:

We strive to provide 10 gifts for each family member which can include anything from necessities, such as socks, to wish list items, such as a kids' bicycle.

On Saturday, December 3rd, I'll be out with Y105 at Kwik Stop on Pennsylvania Avenue helping reign in the holidays with Kwik Stop's "Free Santa Day." "Free Santa Day" is all about bringing smiles to the community, which is why kids will be able to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus for FREE!

Kids can get their pictures taken with Santa, and even turn in their letters directly to the big man in red. Parents are also permitted to take their own pictures. Kwik Stop will send a follow-up photo to each child the following week.

I will be on-location at Kwik Stop on Pennsylvania Avenue from 11am to 1pm, embracing the camaraderie and probably visiting with Santa and Mrs. Claus myself! If for some reason you want a picture with your favorite radio DJ, I'll happily accommodate the request!

If you stop into any Kwik Stop location now, you'll be able to make a donation to the Magical Kwik Stop Christmas. You can make a donation on December 3rd, if you choose to stop by with your child(ren) to take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus as well!

The folks at Kwik Stop always go above and beyond in helping make this community a generous and prosperous one. I'm incredibly excited for this event, and think it's the perfect kickstart to the holiday season!
