One of the Queens of the '90s is headed to Iowa on August 15th, 2022. That's right, Alanis Morissette is going to be at the Iowa State Fair, performing alongside rising country singer Morgan Wade!

The Iowa State Fair is happening August 11th - 21st in Des Moines, and the lineup just got even more stacked with Morissette and Wade set to perform that Monday evening. Brooks & Dunn, Disturbed, Kane Brown, Nelly, Demi Lovato, Carrie Underwood, and more are all set to perform as part of the Iowa State Fair Grandstand Concert series.

On top of touring, Morissette has been busy. She released her ninth studio album, Such Pretty Forks in the Road, back in July 2020. The album went on to win Adult Contemporary Album of the Year at the 2021 Juno Awards. On top of that, she also saw the release of Jagged, a documentary which chronicled her career from her humble beginnings as an Ontario-born performer to global singer-songwriter.

That documentary, which premiered on HBO and HBO Max in November 2021, did however prove to be controversial, with Morissette expressing her unhappiness with its approach and denouncing it as a whole. The film still saw a formal release as part of HBO's "Music Box" documentary series and went on to receive praise from critics.

Meanwhile, Wade, a 27-year-old, Virginia-born country singer, is currently enjoying success with her debut single "Wilder Days." Her album Reckless was released last March.

To score tickets to see Alanis and Wade, you can check out the Iowa State Fair's website! Tickets start at $45.
