Video of ASAP Rocky’s Bodyguard Choking Alleged Victim Surfaces

A new video shows a different side of A$AP Rocky's assault case in Sweden.

On Wednesday morning (July 31), TMZ published a video that shows Rocky's bodyguard engaging with the man who allegedly followed Rocky's crew in Stockholm. The video was reportedly recorded before the alleged victim, Mustafa Jafari, threw a punch and hurled his headphones at the bodyguard. It also takes place before the entire street brawl went down.

At the opening Jafari maintains that he was defending himself when he punched the bodyguard, and he managed to escape without charges. However, despite the visual, Rocky's bodyguard hasn't been charged.

Earlier this week (July 30), Rocky and two members of his entourage faced a judge in Sweden for their assault charge. Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, as well as the two members of his crew, pleaded not guilty. The 30-year-old rapper claims that he fought the man seen in the viral fight video in self-defense. Rocky's first hearing took place at the Stockholm District Court inside a heavily secured courtroom that will remain closed off to the public. Rocky's mother, Renee Black, was in attendance for the hearing as well a presidential envoy sent by President Donald Trump himself.

The New York Times recently reported that the alleged victim thought that Rocky and his crew were going to beat him to death. Jafari is reportedly asking for nearly $139,700 Swedish Krona, which equals to $15,000 U.S. dollars. Rocky's trial will reconvene on Thursday, during which Jafari will testify.
