Asbury City Council says NO to ATV’s and UTV’s on it’s streets

The Asbury City Council has been considering a proposal to allow ATV's and UTV's on city streets. As of July 1, these types of vehicles are now allowed on county roads in Iowa.

After hearing public comments, the City Council this week voted 3-2 against the proposal.  So even though ATV's and UTV's are allowed on county roads, they WILL NOT be allowed inside Asbury city limits or on Asbury streets.

There was no discussion on when the subject could be re-visited in the future.
