Boosie BadAzz Making Feature Film Debut in Boxing Movie ‘Glass Jaw’
Boosie BadAzz will try his hand at some serious acting as it is being reported that he has landed a role in the upcoming indie boxing film, Glass Jaw.
The movie stars Lee Kholafai as Travis Austin, a one-time boxing champ who finds himself in prison and loses all he loves. According to Variety, Badazz will have the role of a street savvy underground fight club operator.
The movie will also star Korrina Rico, Jon Gries, Ashlee Macropoulos, Mark Rolston, Jaime Camil, Vernon Wells and Steven Williams, and will be directed by Jeff Celentano. Tommy Vlahopoulos of Tommy V Productions, Tom Sulkowski and Dan Gatsby of Gatsby Studios are executive producing the project.
Boosie has some experience in the acting arena, having cut his teeth starring in a handful of underground, straight-to-bootleg films, including Gangsta Musik, Last Dayz and Ghetto Stories: The Movie, where he played Marcus Hatch, a small-time drug dealer who wages war against a local rival played by Webbie.
In acting related news, Rick Ross recently revealed he and Gucci Mane will be putting together a new film. “ATL should love the fact that me and Guwop are going to film our first movie,” he told Ryan Cameron at the V103 Live Pop Up Concert in March. “We doing that independently. We gon’ be beginning that in the next three months,” he added.
Glass Jaw does not have a release date.
