Whether you're a seasoned bowhunter, an archery aficionado, a beginner, or simply curious about the sport, this is the fall season event your you at Sundown Mountain.

Archery is quite possibly the oldest of competitions. We know that the bow and arrow are at least 10,000 years old. While it's always been a fun hobby for many, the sport has grown recently, with more than 24 million Americans taking up the bow and arrow. Additionally, globally, the sport's popularity continues to surge for men and women alike.

Sponsored by Gator Outdoors and Travel Dubuque, Bownanza is set to become an annual Fall family-friendly event. The kids will have a blast with a children's archery practice range. Over two days, live music, overnight camping, night shoots, chairlift rides, food trucks, archery supply vendors, competitions, contests, and more will make for a memorable weekend for one and all.

In addition, the Working Class Bowhunter Podcast will be on-site Saturday, September 24th! Visit their booth for WCB merchandise and perhaps swap stories while sharing a beer or two!
