Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa Reunite at 2017 Lollapalooza
On Saturday night (Aug. 5) at Lollapalooza, Chance The Rapper electrified his hometown of Chicago with a crazy performance. During the set, he reunited with fellow Chi-Town rapper Vic Mensa to perform their old collabs like “Cocoa Butter Kisses” and “Didn’t I (Say I Didn’t)." See footage of the surprise performance below.
Many believed the two had some sort of issue over the past year and change, though neither of them ever said so. But tonight they sent a message, deading all rumors of any petty beef. "The world will take you a lot of places," Chance told the crowd with Vic on stage. "Never let it take you away from fam."
Vic, who just put out his fantastic new album The Autobiography, actually spoke about potentially collabing with Chance earlier this year. “We haven’t talked much, but we texted the other day,” he said in an interview. Asked if he'd be working with Chance, he simply said, "We talked about it."
