Miki stopped by the studio this morning and told me to get ready to laugh! GIT Improv is back this Saturday night (11/13) by popular demand!

GIT Improv was formerly known by "Guys in Ties," so I asked Miki why the group made the name change.

Since there are women in the troop, too, using the word "guys" doesn't seem right... hence GIT Improv.

If you're a fan of the show "Whose Line Is It Anyway," GIT Improv is very similar. Audience members have the opportunity to shout out suggestions to the members who then incorporate them into the show.

Miki mentioned the Bell Tower Theater is again able to serve refreshments, including beer. She said the cast of the show always jokes "the more you drink, the funnier we'll be."

It's one show only, this Saturday night at 7:30 pm, so grab your tickets before they're gone. You can call the box office at 563-588-3377, or visit their website. (You can actually see what seats are available there and pick the ones you want.)

I asked Miki what show is next and she mentioned their holiday show called "The Charitable Sisterhood Christmas Spectacular: A Mystery Comedy." This show will run from December 3rd to the 19th, so grab up your tickets now. It's a small cast, just five actors, but includes a lot of laughs.

Miki also mentioned that season subscriptions are available now which includes a ticket to each of the five shows in 2022, and other great benefits. These make great Christmas gifts for those people in your life that are tough to buy for. It gives them a night out five times during the year, so they'll think about you all year long!
