Demi Lovato just got a new tattoo with a super meaningful message.

The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer showed off a tiny finger tattoo on Thursday (June 27) with the word "me" written in old-fashioned typewriter font—and no, it's not a reference to Taylor Swift's new single "ME!" Instead, it's an important and powerful reminder for the 26-year-old to put herself first.

"Me first," she wrote. "thank you @winterstone for my new forever reminder."

The new ink joins a number of other tattoos she's gotten in the last year. In January, she debuted two others—a dainty rose on her finger to celebrate six months of sobriety and a portrait of her late dog with the words "Buddy was here" on her ankle. Then, in March, she got another to honor her late great-grandmother, Mimaw.

Her newest ink also comes days after the pop star shared an album update with her fans, revealing she's going to be telling her "side of the story" following her near-fatal overdose in July 2018.

"You know what’s great about making an album?" Lovato wrote on her Instagram Stories. "You get to say anything you want, be as open and honest as possible and finally tell your side of the story regardless of who might not like it."

She also recently posted a photo of herself in the studio: “Making magic,” she wrote.
