By now you've probably heard about the devastating 7.9 earthquake that rocked Nepal over the weekend.  Your heart goes out to those affected, but how can you help?

Enter Josh Jasper from Resources Unite and Manisha Paudel of Dubuque.

Josh buzzed me earlier this week about popping out to share details on their 'Dubuque Rebuilds Nepal' event next Monday (5/4) night at the Asbury Eagles Club, and I told him to come right out!

Minisha is originally from Nepal.  She left there when she was 10 but still has family and friends there.  She visited there about four years ago and still hopes to return to climb to the Mount Everest base camp.

Tragically, the death toll from this recent earthquake is expected to rise about 10,000 souls.  The Prime Minister has called for a three day country-wide mourning period.

Monday night, Josh and Minisha have assembled a wonderful evening to raise funds that will be used for victims in the future.

For a $20 donation, you will receive a dinner catered by Carlos O'Kelly's and a t-shirt from Envision Tees that you can proudly wear that supports the ongoing efforts. The goal is to raise $10,000.  All proceeds will be donated to those in need.

You can make your donation at the event.  Please invite you family, friends and colleagues to join you for this important dinner that will help positively impact the lives of many!

What a great community we live in, with hearts big enough to reach out and touch others on the other side of the world!
