New Antique Store and Consignment Center Opens in Galena

A new antique mall and consignment center is open on Galena's South Main Street, and is described by the co-owner as a "mini-me" insofar that it's a smaller version of the bigger store model.

The store is EZ Sell USA Antique Mall and Consignment Center has the "best of the best" when it comes to the business, per co-owner Paul Connor, who spoke to the Telegraph Herald about the opening. The shop features high-end jewelry, exclusive art pieces, and a whole lot more.

Located at 204 South Main Street in Galena, EZ Sell USA is divided into three sections, per Telegraph Herald:

• Main gallery
• Collectibles
• Products sold by vendors in booths

The business is a smaller version of EZ Sell USA's flagship location at 201 North Commerce Street. The idea behind the store seems to cater to the nearly million people who visit Galena, IL on an annual basis, and are already shopping on the city's historic Main Street. EZ Sell USA's South Main Street location occupies the space that used to be Carl Johnson's Gallery. Johnson's wife, Marilyn, leased the space following the death of her husband in 2025. The new store opened on April 1st, and Connor is in the process of fielding a staff.

The Telegraph Herald notes that owners Paul and Linda Connor have a deep connection to the city of Galena. It's Linda's hometown and Paul arrived in 1977. The wo ran adjoining stores on South Main Street in the late 1970s, so opening this store is something of a homecoming for the couple.
