The 2017 Grammy Awards are scheduled to take place this Sunday (Feb. 12). Hip-hop will be well represented at the upcoming ceremony with four rap categories. Some of hip-hop's finest are also nominated for categories like Best New Artist and Album of the Year.

Drake and Kanye West seem poised for a big night as each man has been nominated for eight awards. Despite the impressive amount of nominations, both Drizzy and 'Ye plan to skip the show.

Chance The Rapper will have a chance to make a major impact at the 2017 Grammys thanks to the Recording Academy's ruling that streaming-only projects are eligible for consideration. As a result, the Chicago MC racked up seven nominations of his own, including Best New Artist.

Out of all the categories, none will be more scrutinized by hip-hop fans than Best Rap Album. Six artists are up for the prestigious award, which was originally created for the 1996 Grammy Awards.

Chance The Rapper's Coloring Book, De La Soul's And the Anonymous Nobody, DJ Khaled's Major Key, Drake's Views, ScHoolboy Q's Blank Face LP and Kanye West's The Life of Pablo are up for this year's award.
