Fatal Auto Accident in Asbury, Iowa on Wednesday Sept 29 (UPDATE)

Authorities have now released the names of both victims from Wednesday's auto accident in Asbury

The deceased driver is identified as Gordon Block (78) of Asbury, IA

The other driver was identified as Sherry Trickel White (62) of Asbury, IA

The accident remains under investigation.

(ORIGINAL STORY)

The Dubuque Country Sheriff's Department continues to investigate a fatal auto accident on Wednesday afternoon in Asbury.  The Sheriff's Department responded to a two-vehicle accident just after 4pm in the 5100 Block of Park Place. One of the drivers was transported to the hospital and was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.  The other driver was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The accident remains under investigation and all names will be released on Thursday September 30, 2021 at approximately 4pm.
