Five Flags Center to Host an Open House, Ribbon Cutting

To celebrate new management, which just took over in the summer, as well as a plethora of shows already scheduled for next year, the Five Flags Center in Dubuque is hosting a public open house and ribbon cutting near the end of October.

The event is to commemorate Oak View Group's (OVG) partnership with the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce. OVG assumed management of the Five Flags Center on July 1st, 2025. The same group also operates the Grand River Center in town.

Details About the Public Open House:

The public open house and ribbon cutting will take place at the Five Flags Center Theater on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025 from 3pm to 6pm:

This event will celebrate Five Flags Center’s transition into OVG’s growing family of venues and showcase their commitment to enhancing live entertainment and community engagement in Dubuque - per a press release from the Five Flags Center

People are invited to meet the individuals behind the Oak View Group, both from Five Flags and the Grand River Center, and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Those who attend will automatically be entered into drawings for free event tickets.

The First Opportunity to Get Tickets to Newly Announced Shows:

Guests will also have the opportunity to be the first to purchase tickets to shows scheduled in 2026. Those shows include:

• "Are You Ready for It? A (Taylor) Swift Experience" – January 24, 2026
• Anthony Shore Presents "Elvis in Concert" – March 14, 2026
• "Napoleon Dynamite Live!" featuring Jon Heder, Efren Ramirez, and Jon Gries – September 25, 2026
• Vienna Boys Choir "Christmas in Vienna" – November 25, 2026
