American audiences will get a wider introduction to Phoebe Waller-Bridge with Star Wars’ upcoming Han Solo film, but fans outright will jump for joy at this news. Fleabag is officially returning for Season 2 on Amazon, even if you have to wait a bit.

Amazon confirms that the stage-adapted series will return for a second season, following reports that Waller-Bridge herself had finally cracked a story. Production was previously said to begin in late 2017 for a 2018 premiere, but the Fleabag Season 2 press release indicates that new episodes won’t premiere until 2019.

Said Waller-Bridge:

I asked myself if Fleabag has more to say and frankly she hasn’t shut up since. Series two will be a whole new adventure and I’m beyond thrilled to be coming back.

For those unfamiliar with the series, the six-episode Fleabag follows Waller-Bridge as an unnamed fourth-wall breaking protagonist living in London, and running a café after the death of her best friend and business partner. Fleabag also stars Sian Clifford as her sister Claire, Hugh Skinner as ex-boyfriend Harry, Broadchurch and The Night Manager star Olivia Colman as her stepmother, and comedian Brett Gelman as friend Martin.

All episodes are available to stream on Amazon Prime, so watch the first trailer below and stay tuned for more on Fleabag Season 2.
