Future is about to make history, and he's doing it one album at a time.

Future is projected to become the first artist ever to debut two albums at No. 1 in consecutive weeks. Future's self-titled album debuted at No. 1 and sold 140K in the first week. According to HITS Daily Double, their projected sales for HNDRXX, Future's follow-up album, is between 110-125k in the first week.  If the sales projections are correct, it will be enough to land Future a No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.

In Billboard 200's history, there has been no act to achieve debuting two No. 1 albums consecutively. The Billboard chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). Future does face some competition from country music group Little Big Town and John Mayer, who will pull in right behind him on the charts if projections are correct.

On Sunday, March 5, the top 10 of the newly dated Billboard 200 chart will be released, and fans along with Future will see if he made music history. Future recently did an interview with Zane Lowe where he spoke openly about creating HNDRXX, deleting his Instagram pictures, and more. Check out the interview below.
