Get Huge Savings For The Ski Season This Week With Sundown Mountain

I love it when Mark from Sundown Mountain stops by the Y105 studio.

He's a cool guy that has a lot of funny stories and when I see him I know that ski season is just around the corner.

Today he popped in to remind our listeners that they are running a huge deal through the end of August that gives you giant savings on your season pass for the upcoming ski season. They feature a full membership, or their "Weekday" and "Weekend Warrior" passes.

Sundown Mountain will also be hosting their fall installment of "Music on the Mountain" on Saturday, October 16th from noon to 8pm. It's an outdoor family-friendly event featuring live music, food trucks and beverages, plus activities for the kids! They'll have inflatables and a petting zoo from Miller's Petting Zoo! You're able to take a ride on the ski lift (which should look fantastic in October), or take a stroll down the hillside for smores an other treats.

If you're thinking a job at Sundown would be fun, Mark mentioned their job fair event on Saturday, November 6th from 9am to noon. (If you don't ski, you could still find work in the gift shop, lodge cafeteria or bar and the rental lodge.)

He also mentioned a swap event coming up in November, so if you'd like to purchase some used skis, snowboards or other equipment you should stop out.

I for one can't wait for the upcoming season. Skiing is a great way to get some outdoor activity over the long winter months!
