Hear Green Day’s Clap-Along New Song ‘Fire, Ready, Aim’

Green Day have dished out "Fire, Ready, Aim," another quick-hit single off their forthcoming new record, Father of All Motherfuckers.

While a sub-two-minute runtime might scream punk rock, the song is more pop rock than anything, leaning further into the direction the band went on "Father of All...," with Billie Joe Armstrong testing the limits of his upper vocal register. "Fire, Ready, Aim" is a feel-good, clap-along bopper that would've made for a perfect summertime hit.

The song debuted last night (Oct. 9) as the official opening theme song for the National Hockey League and NBCSN's Wednesday Night Hockey television broadcasts. Hear "Fire, Ready, Aim" toward the bottom of the page and watch the NHL video further down.
