Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj Team Up on “Make Love”
Update (Feb. 24, 4:46 p.m. EST):
Kendrick has responded to the shout-out on Twitter, saying simply, "I love it Nicki Minaj." Hopefully this means a collab is on the way.
Original Story:
After reuniting on Instagram the other week, Gucci Mane and Nicki Minaj are back on wax together for their new collab "Make Love." Stream the song via Apple Music below or cop it on iTunes now.
A lot of people are speculating Nicki is throwing shots at Remy Ma on this song with lines like "Oooohhh, oh you the qu-e-e-the queen of this here? / One platinum plaque, album flopped, bitch, where?" The whole verse sounds pretty pointed, so perhaps we're in for some fireworks this year.
She even name-dropped Kendrick Lamar in the verse, saying, "Bitch I'm the greatest, no Kendrick and no Sia / I'm the iPhone, you the Nokia."
Nicki also spit a verse on Jason Derulo's new song "Swalla," and one line in particular has people thinking she's aiming at Remy in that one too: "I gave these bitches two years, now your time's up / Bless her heart, she throwing shots but every line sucks."
