In a new interview with Entercom, Hayley Williams has confirmed that Paramore will play shows in the future.

Moreover, the vocalist, who will release her debut solo record Petals For Armor on May 8, has speculated that the members of Paramore have been thinking about the band's "next project."

"I’m not gonna work Paramore songs in because that’s very sacred to me and that belongs at a Paramore show," Williams said when asked if she'd play Paramore material at solo shows. "And there will be more Paramore shows. I was talking to the guys about this the other day, because we’re finishing mixing the [solo] record right now in a space in L.A., and Zac [Farro, drums] rents one room and me and Taylor [York, guitar] are in another. We share a bathroom––we shit in the same toilet all day! Zac was like, ‘I see you guys more in L.A. than I do in Nashville. We need to do this more!’ There have been times when we’ve been fantasising about the next Paramore project, and we have to stop ourselves, because everybody is so busy working on shit right now."

Williams released the EP Petals for Armor I earlier this month, which includes the singles Simmer, Leave it Alone and Cinnamon. Her return to music was the subject of a recent Note To Scene podcast, which you can check out here.

Paramore's most recent album, After Laughter, was released in 2017.
