Need another excuse to stay home and away from the office? Don't worry, we've got you covered.

According to a new study from NOAA, it turns out working remotely could be affecting our air quality - for the better! During the 2020 spring lockdown, there was a large decline in road traffic, for obvious reasons. During this time satellites recorded vastly lower air pollution levels than usual. The interesting part is that even after restrictions were lifted, air pollution levels still remained considerably low.

In some cities, nitrogen dioxide pollution levels from vehicles were recorded at 20% lower than pre-covid levels. Many researchers believe that remote working could be the answer we've been looking for in the fight to lower air pollution!

So it turns out remote working is not only beneficial for a good work/life balance, but it's also beneficial to Mother Nature.
