Help Save Iowa’s Endangered Species by Attending Free ‘Taste of Summer’ Event Tonight

The highly anticipated Taste of Summer event is back this evening for its final night at the National Mississippi River Museum & Aquarium. Get down to the Port of Dubuque for amazing food vendors from the Tri-States and some of your favorite local and regional musicians one last time this summer.

Guests are invited to attend this after-hours event in the boatyard and plaza areas on the National Mississippi River Museum campus. Live music, food trucks, and a beer/seltzer stand will have items for sale. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets to use; as there is a limited number of picnic tables available.

Taste of Summer is open to all ages and is absolutely free to attend. Both beverage sales and a suggested $5 donation will support the River Museum’s conservation efforts to save endangered species. Food vendors on-site will compete for the prize of “Best Vendor.”

This is one of the best ways to finish off summer really rocking, with great food and even better tunes! Taste of Summer welcomes everyone to the River Museum and is sponsored by Townsquare Media, Iowa Beverage, and Modern Piping Mechanical Contractors. Ample free parking is available in the public lots outside the River Museum.
