Things I Bought at Dubuque’s DaaBIN Store for Just $10
Ever since Dubuque got a bin store, I've been hoping to get there and partake in the "cheap" day, as they call it. If you're unaware of what exactly a bin store offers you, it's essentially a hodgepodge of returns and online products that were bought up at wholesale prices and are then offered up to you in a sort of grab bag-esque fashion.

Sometimes boxes have no brands, wording, or information on them. Sometimes the wording is in another language. Heck, sometimes the products are wrapped in layers of plastic and tape. It's an adventure, and one I have been hoping to partake in ever since Dubuque's DaaBIN Store came to be. Today, the "stars aligned" so to speak, and my morning opened up for a chance to be there when its doors opened at 9 AM.
I've been wanting to do a Wednesday because it's the last day of the sale and the cheapest one to pick up massive amounts of stuff. See, it's this article idea I have had for a long time: what exactly can $10 get you at DaaBIN? Well, ladies and gentlemen, I am here to inform you of my haul, cause that's exactly what I did today. There were some hits, misses, and loads of laughs as my co-worker and I opened and uncovered each "hidden gem" of an item. In fact, that might be the whole point of any Wednesday at DaaBIN Store.

And there you have it: my $10 haul from Dubuque’s DaaBIN Store. Some things made me laugh, some made me scratch my head, and a few I’d call solid wins. But honestly, that’s the fun of it: sometimes you have no idea what you’re going to dig up until you roll up your sleeves and start searching.
If you’ve never been, here’s the quick scoop: DaaBIN restocks every Thursday and Friday, then reopens Saturdays with fresh bins. Prices start at $8 per item on Saturday, drop to $5 per item on Sunday, $3 per item on Monday, and $1 per item on Tuesday. On Wednesdays, you can fill a 19-gallon bag for just $10; that’s the deal I tried out. The Dubuque store is located at 4470 Dodge Street, and it’s open Saturday through Wednesday.
Whether you’re hunting for a hidden gem, stocking up on household goods, or just in it for the thrill of discovery, DaaBIN is one of those spots where you never quite know what you’ll walk out with. And honestly? That’s half the fun.
