Katy Perry Literally Couldn’t Get Into Any Fancy Glasgow Restaurants, So She Went to Taco Bell
Bon appétit, baby! After facing rejection upon rejection at a number of high-end restaurants in Glasgow, Katy Perry was forced to eat as the late night stoners and college crowd do: at Taco Bell.
During her Witness World Tour stop at the SSE Hydro arena in Scotland, the good-humored pop star took pause between songs to tell attendees about her dining woes.
"I was on the Internet looking up the top 25 places for dinner. Some are really fancy. Some only sit like 10 people. I called a couple of places and couldn’t get in anywhere," Perry admitted according to The Scottish Sun, per People.
So, she did what any proud California Gurl would do: "On the list at the very end it said Taco Bell, so I went there," she revealed. "And then I went to your movie theater!"
Despite the frustrating experience, Perry probably wasn't too upset about her impromptu Taco Bell trip: she loooves the fast food joint!
In 2015 alone she gushed about Taco Bell twice, sharing that she celebrated her Forbes cover with a Crunchwrap Supreme and admitting that she happily waited an hour in line to get into Tokyo's first Taco Bell during its opening that same year.
