Lil Dicky's new TV series will finally be dropping next spring.

The former XXL Freshman's comedy-based show will premiere on FX Networks’ FXX and Hulu in March 2020, reports Deadline. The show will simply be titled Dave and is produced by none other than Kevin Hart.

Dicky celebrated the news of the spring debut on Instagram on Friday (Dec. 20). “'Dave' the tv show. Fx networks and Hulu in March!!!!!!!!!!!" he captioned a screenshot of an article about the announcement.

The show revolves around Dave (Dicky), "a suburban neurotic man in his late 20s who has convinced himself that he’s destined to be one of the best rappers of all time. Now he must convince his closest friends, because with their help, he might actually convince the world."

Co-stars on the new series include Taylor Misiak, Andrew Santino, GaTa, Travis Bennett and Christine Ko.

The show has been in the works for a while and was first revealed back in May 2018. Last September, Dicky postponed his tour so he could work on the new show and his new album.

"I really want to get my album to a place where it's pretty much done before all of season 1 of the show gets back into production," LD told fans on social media at the time. "Because once that gets going, I won't be able to get in the studio very much. I thought I could get to that place before this tour, but it turns out I couldn't. I just want this album to be special. I been working on it for over three years and we're getting close."

Dicky's new album is still in the works but it looks like his show is ready to go.
