Saturday, June 4th is world blood drive day! Please share some of your blood in honor of those who shed theirs in the military. They take an oath to the constitution, which includes the possibility of shedding their blood for our nation. You can make your donation with the Dubuque Gerald F. Winter VFW Post 9663 and ImpactLife at 4867 Asbury Road Suite #1, in Dubuque, Iowa.

All blood donors will get a voucher that may be exchanged for a $10 gift card or 500 bonus points. All donors are invited to then contribute points through the Donor for Life Rewards Store through World Blood Donor Day. ImpactLife will match the cash equivalent of those donated points, up to $10,000, and send funds through a matching program established by Blood Centers of America, or BCA. Blood industry vendor Fresenius Kabi has pledged to match up to $250,000 of qualifying donations made to the BCA fund by June 30th. Those who donate their points back, along with the matching funds, will go to provide blood collection and transfusion supplies in Ukraine. For more information on that program.
