Building off the momentum of his recent trio of releasesMac Miller is gearing up to deliver his highly-anticipated fifth studio album titled Swimming.

Early Thursday morning (July 12), the Pittsburgh rapper announced the project is set to arrive on August 3. Along with the tweet, Mac shared an official trailer for the album which includes an animated scuba diver and a snippet of a song that will presumably appear on the project. "My regrets look just like texts I shouldn't send/And, I've got neighbors look more like strangers/We could be friends/I just need a way out of my head," he croons in the short clip.

Swimming will serve as a follow up to Mac's 2016 effort The Divine Feminine, which featured guest appearances from the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Anderson .Paak and more. The critically-acclaimed project nabbed the no. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 upon it's initial release.

Over the past year, Mac has dealt with a bout of issues. From splitting with Ariana Grande to being involved in a drunk driving incident, the rapper has a fair share of personal dealings to address on his forthcoming album.
