Macklemore plays the role of a leading man in Rudimental's hopelessly romantic video for "These Days," a cut from the English drum and bass band's upcoming third album. He also lends a verse to the track, which also features singer-songwriter Jess Glynne, his lover in the video. Vicalist Dan Caplen also lends his talents to the track.

Directed by Johnny Valencia, the visual, shot in London and Macklemore's native Seattle, Wash., chronicles the rise and fall of one couple's relationship. Throughout the vid, we see Macklemore and Glynne hitting the record store, the kitchen and the streets as they enjoy enough cutesy moments to fill up a Nicholas Sparks movie.

For his verse on the heartfelt track, Macklemore reminisces on a romance that came to an end. "Cigarettes in the ashtray/Reminiscing on those past days/I thought you’d end up with my last name/But that changed," spits Macklemore, who dropped his Gemini album last year.

The hook for the track, sung by Glynne and Caplen, consolidates feelings of nostalgia and reconciliation.

"I hope someday/We'll sit down together/And laugh with each other/About these days, these days/All our troubles/We'll lay to rest/And we'll wish we could come back to these days, these days/We'll wish we could come back to these days, these days," the two croon on the track, which feels similar in vibe to Macklemore's Kesha-assisted cut, "Good Old Days."
