Free peaches and roller skating! Do I have your attention?

A couple of cool things of note happening in the tristates tomorrow (6/3).

Skate Country on Saratoga Road is finally able to reopen! You can strap on your skates starting at 1pm and they'll be following all of the CDC recommendations for safety with masks and social distancing. Find all the details at their WEBSITE.

Also, Dubuque Hy-Vee stores will be giving away more than 40,400 free mini peaches to customers at Kennedy Mall on Wednesday (6/3), with a contactless, drive-thru event. The giveaway will start at 10 a.m. and continue until noon, or while supplies last.

In partnership with its fruit supplier SunWest Fruit Company, Hy-Vee is donating fresh produce to Hy-Vee customers as the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to impact individuals and families across Iowa. The first 2,100 customers will receive nearly 20 mini peaches during a contactless, drive-thru giveaway. In total, approximately 7,600 pounds will be donated.

Fresh mini peaches will be distributed to customers for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Product will be safely loaded into customer vehicles using a contactless method to minimize physical contact and enforce social distancing. The event will take place at Kennedy Mall in the north parking lot along Stoneman Road. All event helpers will be wearing masks and gloves for additional safety measures. No walk-ups will be allowed.
