As I mentioned last week, I thought I would spend the first few weeks of my new blog introducing you to the "regulars" that frequent the Y105 studios.  Today I'd like you to meet Aaron Rainey, owner of Tristates Night Out!

So, to be up-front with you, I don't want to pass this blog-post off as a simple plug for Aaron and his website.  Actually, I've known Aaron for many years and am proud to call him a friend.  (He stood-in for me as a groomsman at my wedding.)  When he's not working hard on his website, Aaron helps to manage the entertainment at the Mississippi Moon Bar in the Diamond Jo Casino.  Now, with that being said, let me tell you about Tristates Night Out.

Aaron started Tristates Night Out to fill the void for people who have the chronic "there's nothing to do" syndrome.  On the site you can find specials and events for restaurants and bars.  You'll also see a listing of bands performing and other entertainment details.  Be sure to check out their daily Calender of Events, which is an easy reference if you're looking for something to do.  While I could go on and on, it would be much easier for you to take a look for yourself at their WEBSITE.  You can also follow them on FACEBOOK.  (I recommend you do so... they feature frequent contests and great giveaways.)  Also, listen for our daily Entertainment Updates at 11:50am, or 4:50 and 9:50pm on Y105 sponsored by Tristates Night Out.  We feature weekly entertainment with details on upcoming Tristates Night Out bus trips, like a bus to see Larry the Cable Guy, WWE Live, a Bulls game and a couple of Cubs games.

Lastly, Tristates Night Out has a FREE downloadable app for your smartphones and tablets call MY NIGHT OUT in your marketplace.  Download it and use it whenever you go out, as it prominently features that Calender of Events I was telling you about earlier.

Enjoy your next night out!  My thanks to Aaron!
