The week is sluggishly dragging on. (How can it only be Thursday?) Luckily, sister Australian DJ duo NERVO, a favorite here at PopCrush, have got the banger of the season to jolt you awake. The aptly-titled "LOCO" pays homage to "Asturias," a classical piece composed by Spanish lyricist, composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz, but is decorated with down 'n' dirty synths and a swirling dive-bar smoke.

Having produced and written hits for Kesha, Pussycat Dolls and Miley Cyrus' former TV counterpart Hannah Montana, Grammy winners Liv and Miriam Nervo are pros at concocting addictive drop-down beats and hooks to last a century. "LOCO" serves as a continuation of that burgeoning legacy. Meanwhile, the pair are joined by Spanish DJ and breakout star Danny Avila on intoxicating production, with singer Reverie lending her ardent vocal bite.

Premiering exclusively on PopCrush, the club smash (officially out October 13) blends Spanish heritage with glitter-bombed euphoria. "It especially felt right because Spain is such a big part of our lives and Danny's, too," Liv shares. "We met Reverie in LA after we posted on our Instagram that we were looking for a Latina artist to feature vocals on a track of ours, and we got on like a house on fire."

"'Asturias' was actually one of the first things Liv learned to play on the guitar so when Danny brought the idea to us we jumped at the chance of making a dance record like this," Miriam adds.

"I'm super excited to finally release this one on Spinnin' Records," Avila offers. "The girls and I have been working on 'LOCO' for some time, playing it at Ushuaia all summer long. We also shot our music video in Ibiza during the summer which was a lot of fun."

The upcoming visual, filmed at Las Vegas' Omnia and Ushuaia in Ibiza, promises to capture the song's frenetic, inspired energy. For now, listen to the track below:
